Didem Gökçe Güçkıran (b. 1983, Edirne, Turkey) is a multidisciplinary engineer, musician, and founder of didea. She currently resides in Istanbul, where she owns and operates her initiative, for bridging design, art, technology, business, and impact. Residing at the crossroads of these multidisciplinary areas Didem Gökçe coordinates programs, designs and executes inspiration, learning, discovery workshops, and creates strategical roadmaps. She is also interested in social impact projects and initiatives focused on education equality, gender equality, climate change, and sustainable business models.

She has two dimensions in her career path that go parallel to each other. She loves to conceptualize them as left and right brain activities that represent engineering and musician sides. Her musician career path, as a singer and composer, started when she is in middle school. For years she attended multitudinous concerts and events with her bands. Some of the artwork she was involved in is here. As to her engineering career path, she graduated from Trakya University, in Computer Engineering in 2007. After her graduation, she worked as a Software Engineer in big companies with the responsibility of developing and maintaining software applications and designing database architecture.

In 2016 she had a paradigm shift when she was leading an IoT Technology Working Group. This experience guided her to create a vision for innovation. Therefore, she turned her viewpoint throughout the business and management side. At the same time, doing MBA in Strategic Design and Management Program at Bahçeşehir University, supported this transition.

From 2016 until 2022 she had Innovation Architect, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Manager, and Product Manager titles in different companies. In Innovation Management, her role was including consultant, facilitator, mentor, deal-maker, and product manager sub-roles within. In addition to this; watching trends, preparing reports, and consulting our clients by informing them about new technologies -such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, etc.- were other important aspects of her ex-roles. Also, as an in-company trainer, she taught Design Thinking methodology and facilitated DT workshops. Additionally, she coordinated a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) project, which is about artificial intelligence for middle school children. She designed the AI training content and conducted the program. In Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, her role included designing and leading in-corporate intrapreneurship facilities. She was responsible for designing a brand for Entrepreneurship and creating an innovation culture in the company. In Product Management, her role was including many sub-roles within the company, which can be defined as Growth Management, which contains organizational development and strategic management topics in it.
